Karin Gashus Alberta's new Utilities Consumer Advocate

July 16, 2009 - Calgary, AB. Agility Factor Inc. is proud to advise Karin Gashus has been selected by the Government of Alberta as the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) and begins this new assignment immediately. The UCA was created in October 2003 to represent the interests of electricity and natural gas small consumers (residential, small business and agriculture) in Alberta. The UCA team works to ensure small consumers have the information, representation and protection they need to better equip them to make informed choices in Alberta’s restructured electricity and natural gas markets.

Karin will continue to be a partner within Agility Factor, however has relinquished certain responsibilities to make room for her Advocate duties. Please join us in congratulating Karin and wishing her success as Alberta's new Utilities Consumer Advocate.
